An immersive room dedicated to the Portraits of Giovio and the origins of the museum, in collaboration with the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
The Giovio Collection is a series of portraits assembled by Paolo Giovio, a 16th-century Italian Renaissance historian and biographer. Intended by Giovio as a public archive of famous individuals, the collection was originally housed in a museum specially built on the shores of Lake Como.
